Esha was introduced to Bharat through one of her sister's friends.
They dated for about a year before they decided to tie the knot. Bharat,
a Sindhi, works in his family's jewellery manufacturing business and he
lives with his parents and joint family in Bandra. Esha, who dabbled in
bollywood films for a bit, is the daughter of veteran film actors Hema
Malini and Dharmendra. Her younger sister Ahana is a fashion designer.
Bharat made a grand entry to the song Jumma Chumma and later family
and friends danced to popular numbers like Tauba Tauba, Dhoom Macha De,
Yamla Pagla Deewana and Dream Girl.

Bharat came to the venue in a white chariot, Hema Malini and
Dharmendra welcomed him, after which the wedding was conducted as per
South Indian traditions. Live musicians performed, while guests sipped
on fresh juices and cold drinks. Later, they were served a sumptuous
North Indian feast prepared by Govinda, the restaurant at ISKCON,
