On one hand, Shah Rukh Khan’s busy schedule hasn’t allowed him to watch Dilwale till now, similarly his Don co-star, Priyanka Chopra, too, hasn’t had the time to watch her recent release Bajirao Mastani. When asked whether she has seen Dilwale, Priyanka, who is winning accolades for her power packed performance as an FBI agent in Hollywood television show Quantico and that of Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani as well, says, “It such an embarrassing thing that I haven’t seen my own film, Bajirao Mastani till
now. I’m getting calls and messages from all over and I myself don’t
know how my character Kashibai has worked. Mr. Amitabh Bachchan has sent
his wishes via letter written in Hindi. My aunt got very excited and
read out the letter to me and had also sent me its picture.” Priyanka is
currently promoting Prakash Jha's Gangaajal, which,
she reveals was her quickest shot film ever. “This film was my quickest
film. I shot the film whenever I got the time between Bajirao Mastani and Quantico," she says.
Priyanka
plays the main protagonist, the role of a powerful cop by the name Abha
Mathur, who is a senior SP in Bankepur in Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka says,
“I am brought up in Lucknow and Bareily and I'm an educated girl. Abha
is from Bankepur and she is a modern girl as well so to play Abha was
easy but the challenge was to be feminine while playing a tough cop at
the same time.” When quizzed Priyanka about the hottest cop on screen
among Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, without batting an
eyelid, she says, “Listen, there is no comparison, I look the best in
the cop uniform.”
