Ever since Priyanka Chopra crooned to In My City, many other
actresses like Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor have dabbled in singing.
And with the success of Dheere Dheere starring Hrithik Roshan and Sonam
Kapoor, music companies are pushing for celeb-oriented music videos. The
latest to join this camp is Sonakshi Sinha, who recently shot for her
debut single, Aaj Mood Ishqholic Hai in Goa.
“It's all about being high on love. Love makes the world go round; it
gives you a rare kind of heady feeling and this song reiterates that,”
Sonakshi stated.
She’s always been interested in music and has even learned to play
the guitar and drums. “I would download the lyrics of new songs,
memorise them and then record them in my voice and make CDs for anyone
who cared to listen,” reveals the actress.
On being asked who her favourite star singer is, the actress had this
to say: “I particularly like Priyanka's (Chopra) voice. She sounds
super sexy.”
